Easter Sunday Hours

Tracey will be opening the PACC bar from 11 AM - 3 PM on Easter Sunday. Stop by and say hello!

 

Soup & Chowder Fest

I want to thank everyone who made soups, chili, and homemade cookies for Saturday's Soup & Chowder Fest. Thanks also to our PACC members who came in to support this event, and to our wonderful volunteers who set up, served, and cleaned up. I hope to see you all at more PACC events!

Annual Pavilion Cleanup

We will be cleaning our Pavilion on Saturday, April 25, beginning at 9 AM. We need volunteers to help with pressure washing, cleaning and setting up tables and chairs, maintenance of the grounds, necessary minor repairs, gazebo repairs, gutter cleaning, kitchen cleaning and pressure washing, repair/paint/stain picnic tables, fan cleaning, and other issues that may arise.

Any assistance you can offer toward making our Club a better place will be greatly appreciated! A signup sheet has been posted on the bar hallway bulletin board.

Many thanks to our wonderful volunteers!

Upcoming Events at the PACC

Tai Chi Class - Sunday, 10:30-11:30 AM. There are four classes left, February 15 and 22 and March 1 and 8, $40 for the 4 remaining sessions. Classes are held at Asian Arts, 28 Essex St., Albany. Participants must pre-register by calling 518-527-8412 or emailing Lorraine@AsianArtsGroup.com. 100% of the proceeds are donated to the PACC Ladies' Auxiliary.

Cornhole League - Sundays, February 15 - April 26, 1 PM. Cost is $10 per week. Light fare will be available. Volunteers are needed to check players in and keep score.

Fish Fry Fridays - Every Friday during Lent, February 20 - April 3, 5-7 PM or until sold out. $10 for a fish fry, $4 for a side order of fries or onion rings, $14 for dinner (fish fry, cole slaw, fries or onion rings.)

25 Week Club - Saturday, March 7 at 6 PM, $35 per person. Beer, wine, well drinks, soda, dinner, DJ, prizes and more! Call Leah at 518-488-4706 to get in on the fun!

Trivia - Saturday, March 21 at 6 PM. $5 per person.

Dyngus Day - Monday, April 6 at 5 PM. Kielbasa and pierogi will be served. Easter egg hunt for the kids at 5:30.

Member Memorial Mass - Sunday, May 3 at 4 PM. Pastries and coffee served after the ceremony.

They're Back!

It's that time again, Fish Fries are back! Every Friday during Lent, beginning February 20. Fish fry and cole slaw with onion rings or fries, $14. Fish fry only, $10. Side of onion rings or fries, $4. Serving from 5-7 PM or sell-out.

PACC Super Bowl Party

It's almost here! Super Bowl is this Sunday, February 8. Our party is a fantastic deal, only $25 in advance (by Saturday) and $30 at the door for our delicious buffet and beer/soda. Discounted prices for the kiddos! Join us for a fun day of football and food!

Reminder - 2026 Dues

Attention Members - dues for 2026 are now due. If you haven't already done so, please remit your payment as soon as possible. Men's dues are $50, $25 for Lifetime Members. Auxiliary dues are $20. Payment may be made in person at the Club or by mail. Thank you!

Building Maintenance Fundraiser Update

Dollar Beer Wednesday will be providing entertainment at our Building Maintenance Raffle drawing event on Sunday, January 18! Raffle tickets are still available.

Building Maintenance Fundraiser

As of 12/18/25 we have 75 tickets still available for this raffle. Don't miss out on your chance to win! The drawing event is always lots of fun with some great food!

Tickets are $50 each with prizes totaling $5,000!! Grand Prize is $2,500, 2nd Prize is $1,000, 3rd Prize is $750, 4th Prize is $500, 5th Prize is $250. Drawing is on Sunday, January 18,2026

from 1-4 PM. A light menu will be served for ticket holders, with a small fee for guests of ticket holders. Stop in and buy your ticket soon!

Please support this fundraiser if you're able. We have a few big maintenance projects needed, including finishing the parking lot repairs and a new roof on the building.

Our Banquet Manager, Kathy Hendrick, is looking for a few volunteers to help prepare the Banquet Hall for the Holiday Season and upcoming parties. Cleaning will begin this Saturday, November 1, at 10 AM. All volunteers are welcome and sincerely appreciated!

Temporary Parking Restrictions
MEMBERS AND VISITORS - The PACC's parking lot is being repaved today and tomorrow (Thursday, 10/16-Friday, 10/17). The Club will be open regular hours. Please park in the receiving area at the back of the building. We hope that the Commerce Ave. side of the lot will be open for parking sometime Friday. We know this may be a small, but necessary, inconvenience and thank you for your patience!

Auxiliary Fundraiser

Once again, the Auxiliary is sponsoring a Tastefully Simple fundraiser. Our TS Ambassador, Jennie Crandall Marzio, will be available at our November 12 meeting with cash and carry items. There is a special every month as well that she will let us know about on November 12. She will also be taking orders that can be shipped right to you.

Christmas Party
Tickets are now available at the PACC Bar for our Christmas Party, scheduled for Saturday, November 29, from 6 PM to 12:30 AM. $45 per person, includes roast beef dinner, beer, wine, soda, and well drinks. Live music by Grand Central Station.

 

St. Jude Picnic

Wow, what an amazing day we had at the PACC's annual St. Jude Picnic. First, we want to thank all the members of the wonderful St. Jude Picnic Planning Committee. This group puts an incredible amount of time into planning, organizing, and setting up our Pavilion so everyone who attends has an enjoyable time, all to raise money for the kids at St. Jude. We can't express enough thanks to those who donated over 240 gifts, gift cards, baked goods, and prizes to help make the 2025 Picnic a huge success! To all the volunteers, know that we could not pull this off without your help! A special thank you to our friends from the New York State Police and the Albany County Sheriff's Department for attending with their climbing wall and Simulator. And finally, we want to thank all those who attended the event. Once again, attendance was up from last year and we feel we can honestly say everyone had a great time supporting the Alban Polish American Citizens Club's quest to help save lives at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

St. Jude Fundraiser
Our St. Jude Fundraiser is in just 5 weeks! We're currently accepting donations for our raffles and auction. Please drop your donations off at the bar any time during regular hours. As always, we're grateful for the generosity of our members and friends. Your help in supporting this wonderful organization is appreciated!

Annual St. Jude Family Picnic

Our annual St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Fundraiser will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025 in our Pavilion. Admission is $35 per adult (age 21 and over), $25 for ages 12 to 20, $15 for ages 6 to 12, and free for children age 5 and under. Gates open at noon with beverages (beer, wine, and soda) and picnic food served from 1 PM to 6 PM. It's a fun day for a great cause, with Chinese Auctions, raffles and more all afternoon! 

​

We're still accepting donations and baskets for the auction and raffles. Donations may be dropped off at the PACC Bar.

​

Please join us on September 6 and help continue our tradition of supporting the wonderful work being done by St. Jude!
